The Secret Kingdom

The Secret Kingdom

The Timeless Laws of God’s Kingdom at Word in the World Today:

A kingdom is a domain ruled by a king. Jesus began His ministry by telling people to “repent for the Kingdom of God is at hand. Matthew 4:17

The kingdom was there “now” if they would accept it. John the Baptist had the same message. Matthew 3:2

What is the secret kingdom? It is a kingdom that is not “visible.” The world we can see is reality.

In the world there are two domains. One is light and the other is darkness. Behind these are the spirit world ruled by God Himself. There is Reality—there is Spirit world. World system—Satan. II Corinthians 4:4.

The kingdom of God is invisible and Jesus told us Hid kingdom would dwell in our hearts. The unlimited Kingdom of Jesus. Finite-infinite, mortal-immortal, impossible-possibilities. Matthew 6:33, Seek first.

Key principle: Matthew 7:12 says, “Therefore whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the prophets.” We call it “The Golden Rule.” It is the summation of the Sermon on the Mount. It established the Christians’ ethical relationship with other believers and revealed the purpose of the sermon and is to fulfill the Law and the prophets. Jesus did not come to destroy the Law or prophets, but to fulfill them.

In John 3:1-3,”…Unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Once you are born again, born from above, you can see the effects of the kingdom.

Without being born of water and the Spirit, you cannot enter the kingdom. The kingdom has everything we need. We can only enter into the kingdom by being “born again” and receiving forgiveness of sins. Born of water and the Spirit—that is of the Holy Spirit who is represented by water which cleanses, refreshes, and purifies the soul. Water baptism is symbolic of this act.

If you can see into the kingdom, we can bring the things we need into our lives. Must see it!

The kingdom of God is the reverse of the kingdom of the world. Example: Humility vs. Pride. In John 13, Jesus washed the feet of His disciples. “I am the Lord, but I serve.”

Key: Humility and service, not self-seeing.

The best leader is the one who is the servant. The Benafactors of the earth lord it over people. In the kingdom of God the greatest of all is a servant to all. “Great in My kingdom, if you’re a servant, I will lift you up.” The best leaders are servants of the people. Serve people.

The Laws of the Kingdom

The Law of Use—the parable of the Talents—Matthew 25:14-23. We are used to the talents and abilities that God gives us. Jesus says, “To Him who has, more will be given.” But if you do not use what God gives you, He will take it away and give it to someone else to use. Use the law of compound interest (8th wonder of the world) and it will work for you. You lose what you do not use. Use it or lose it.

The Law of Reciprocity—the rocket—propulsion. For every action there is an opposite reaction. Luke 6: 38 says, “Give, and it will be given to you…” 8 Words that bring a principle in God’s kingdom. Give kindness—receive kindness. Fundamental law in our society. The Golden Rule—Matthew 7:12. Luke 6:31, “As you want people to treat you—treat them in the same way.”

When you smile at someone, they usually smile back. If you give mercy to someone, you receive mercy. If you give service, you receive service. The tithe is the starting place to start your giving to God. Not under the Law. Malachi 3:7-10—prove me; Psalms 37:10-11, 25.

The Purpose of Struggle—it helps you grow spiritually

The Law of Perseverance—you must persevere to attain things in your life. Jesus said to keep on asking, seeking, and knocking (3 important things) Matthew 7:7-8. Think of a baby chick conned in a shell. There comes a time when it starts pecking and it bursts thought he shell and is set free. That is the way it is in life at times. You are confined by your circumstances and you need to “peck” and “peck” through prayer to burst out of where you are in life. We call it the “breakthrough.” Jesus is the God of the “breakthrough.”

This is called perseverance. A young child starts out in a crib, then the baby goes to a youth bed and then to a regular bed. At times we struggle against things in our lives. God allows things like adversity to help us grow.

Paul says we must face pressure in life and we overcome obstacles in life. It is like a weight lifter who is in training to compete. You must develop your spiritual muscles to grow strong in the Spirit.

So, we must persevere against struggles and adverse circumstances. Don’t quit!! Keep on seeking, knocking, and asking.

Luke 18:1-11—the Unjust Judge. The woman persevered. She prayed. She never stopped. Never give up until you see the answer. Jacob would not let go until he received the blessing. Never stop praying.

Growing in God’s Favor

The Law of Responsibility—Capitalism (free-market capitalism) is the best way to live but unrestrained capitalism is not good. “Unto whom much is given, much is required.”

The USA is the richest nation in the world. How are we using what God has given to us? So, with so much given, so great is the responsibility to spread the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. Wealthy nations are obligated to help keep the peace around the world. “Noblesse oblige” nobility obliges or delights. America has been trying to do this since WWII. But it has failed in many areas. Personally, we are to fulfill our responsibility to the level God has called us, then He will take us higher. We are to help people. Give, and it will be given to you.

The Law of Greatness—all people desire to be great. The secret of greatness is to have a humble spirit as a child. (Matthew 18:2-4; Luke 22:25-27). Become like a child or a servant. Three Qualities: They are trusting. They are teachable. They are humble in most cases.

You are considered great when you are a servant. Great people serve a lot of people: Thomas Edison, Henry Ford. The Church should be servants to the lost, to those who are in need (Matthew 23:12).

Jesus is greatest because He served the most. Live the Beatitudes. The nation that does the most for others will be great.

The Law of Unity—nothing will be impossible. A guarantee of success if or people to live in unity. At the Tower of Babel, God said the people are of one mind and one language and “nothing will be impossible to them.” (Genesis 11:1, 4).

Unity works in heaven and it will work on the earth. God looks at unity and it brings success. Unity allows the power of God to move (acts 2:1-2; Acts 4:5).

The devil always tries to divide. He attacks families. He attacks our nation trying to tear up the fabric of the nation. The more unity we have, the more success we will enjoy. We need cohesion and harmony (Acts 13:1-3). God and Abraham were in unity (Romans 4:13-21). Jesus prayed for the church in John 17:20-23—“Father, may they be one as we are one.”

The Laws of Fidelity and Change—Jesus is God and He came to the earth to be Man—the God-Man.

Jesus told His disciples to be faithful. If you are faithful in small things, He will appoint you to be faithful in big things.

Do not sell yourself for big or small things that are not part of God’s plan and contained in His Word. He that is faithful in little things will be faithful in much. God starts you out small to see if you will be faithful. Malachi 1:6 says, “I am the Lord, I change not.” God does not change. Jesus said no one puts new wine in old wine bags. They will burst. When God wants to move by the Holy Spirit, the people have to change to allow the Spirit to change them.

Do not pour new wine into old things. God does new things to spread the Gospel. We are now in the “digital age.” We must change our delivery to reach the masses for Christ.

The Law of Miracles

A miracle is where God goes beyond natural laws and does the supernatural. He overrides the way in which things normally operate. Jesus walking on the water is an example of a miracle. Those that come to God must believe that he is capable of miracles and that He can make things happen that are beyond comprehension – Hebrews 11: 3&6.

Jesus cursed the fig tree in Mark 11:20-22. Then He teaches the principle of how miracles come to pass – Mark 1:23-24. Confess what you need – Say it!! Speak it!!

The principle of power comes from God Himself. Your confession activates your faith. God’s Word in your mouth means nothing will be impossible for you – Luke 1:37 and Mark 9:23.

To operate miracles, you cannot have any unforgiveness, unconfessed sin, or bitterness, or strife in your life – Mark 11:25. Unforgiveness will block the operation of miracles.

Command through your words.

Next, do not have any doubt in your heart. Doubt is the thief of God’s greater blessing. You must feed your faith with the Word of God and starve your doubt. You cannot be double minded. You must come into “agreement” with God’s Word. Remember, “Faith begins where the will of God is known.” – Romans 10:17 “Now faith comes by hearing God’s Word.” His Word is His will. You must know His Word.

Here is a spiritual principle: “You will have what you say.”

You must focus on Jesus to get rid of doubt.

Build up faith in your heart by hearing God’s Word – Jude 20. Confess God’s Word over your life, over your circumstances, over your problems. Call those things that are not as though they were.

The Law of Dominion

Beginning in Genesis 1:26-27, we see that God wanted man to have “dominion” over all the earth. This was a kingdom law. God wants man to have “authority” over the earth. He wants man to rule the way He created them to rule. But many born-again children of God are not ruling over their lives or their circumstances. They are living defeated lives. Hosea 4:6 says, “My people [believers] are destroyed for lack of knowledge…” because they reject the knowledge of the Word.

The Hebrew words “radah” meaning dominion or rule over, and “kabash” meaning subdue and “trample underfoot over the rebels rebellions” are used in the Bible to demonstrate the kind of dominion that God wanted man to have over all the earth.

Man lost dominion due to Satan’s deceptions – Genesis 3: 1-5. Adam and Eve fell and gave their dominion over the earth to Satan. They had dominion over everything but lost it. Satan became the god of this world system. Now even the plants can gain dominion. Man lost is dominion even over the plants. Marijuana – cannabis plant, opium – poppy plant, tobacco, cocoa plant – cocaine, corn – whiskey, hops – beer.

Once a person gets addicted to these plants, the plant literally exercises dominion over that person.

When man broke free of God’s authority, he lost control of himself. The devil wants to take away man’s dominion. He uses deception to take dominion away from man.

Jesus came to restore man’s dominion and when you receive Him into your heart as your Lord and Savior, He transfers His dominion to you – Colossians 1:13.

God intended man to be in charge of the earth, the Heavens are to be the Lord’s, and Satan is under our feet. Psalm 115:16 says, “…But the earth He has given to the children of men.”

Jesus gave the Church power and authority to go and preach the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ (Ephesians 1: 22-23), to heal the sick (John 14:12), to raise the dead (Luke 9: 1-20), and to “cast out demons” (Luke 10: 1-19) – Mark 16:17-18; Matthew 28:19.

We exercise our authority by speaking and confessing the Word of God. The Apostle Paul tells us that our warfare is not against people, but against spirits of darkness – Ephesians 6:12

The Coming King

Jesus said in Luke 8:10, “To you it has been granted to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God.” As believers, we are now permitted to know the mysteries of the kingdom. One mystery is the Holy Spirit and His works and power – (John 14: 17 “but you know him”)

Jesus wants us to live in the realm of the kingdom RIGHT NOW. Jesus says to His Church: “Beloved, be ready! I have shown you the laws of my kingdom, the way things truly work.” Use them! Live them! They will work well for you even now.

Soon Jesus will come in the clouds for His Bride, the Church – 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17. The Bride will go with Him to heaven. For seven years the Church will be in heaven.

On the earth there will be the Tribulation Period. Israel will go through this, but the last three and one-half years, God will hide Israel out and supernaturally protect her.

At the end of the Tribulation, God will send Jesus back to the earth with His Wife – that’s us!! He will set up the New Kingdom of which the Jews will inherit their kingdom.

Jesus will rule the kingdom – Matthew 25: 31-32. The Wife will assist in governing the kingdom.

Satan will be bound for 1,000 years – Revelation 20:2. At the end of the 1,000 years, Satan will be loosed for a short period of time and will deceive many – those who did not want to follow Jesus in the 1,000 year reign – Revelation 20: 7-10. This is the final purging of the rebels against God on the earth. God will put down the rebellion – Revelation 20:10. God gets rid of all the evil. Then comes the Great White Throne judgment – Revelations 20: 11-15.

Only the righteous will live in this kingdom. We will spend eternity with the Lord – Revelation 21:4. “All believers will spend eternity in the new city of Jerusalem” – Revelations 21:10.

God has chosen to give us the kingdom FOREVER – Luke 12:32.
